Linear Valve Offset Learning with Autel Scanner: Troubleshooting Toyota Camry Hybrid ABS Issues

A 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid with 80,000kms experienced a totaled accident. The ABS actuator was salvaged and temporarily installed in another vehicle, resulting in a C1391 error code (Abnormal Leak Of Accumulator Pressure). The actuator was then installed in a different vehicle, triggering codes C1345 and C1368. After a memory reset using a Launch X431 scan tool, only C1345 (Linear Solenoid Valve Offset Learning Undone) remained.

Attempts to perform Linear Valve Offset learning using the scan tool were unsuccessful. Despite the countdown timer, the expected rapidly flashing lights did not activate. Instead, the ABS and TC warning lights illuminated continuously, indicating the learning process failed. The vehicle’s battery was fully charged and a jump pack was used during the procedure. Air bleeding was also performed via the scan tool due to a slightly spongy brake pedal feel. Despite these efforts, the C1345 code persists. The vehicle appears to drive and brake normally. Further diagnostics may be required to resolve the Linear Solenoid Valve Offset Learning issue. An Autel scanner, known for its comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, could provide more detailed information and potentially guide the troubleshooting process. Utilizing an Autel scanner’s advanced features, such as bi-directional controls and access to manufacturer-specific data, may be crucial in identifying the root cause of the problem and successfully completing the Linear Valve Offset learning procedure.
