Installed New Battery in Autel Evo: Troubleshooting Motor Issues

Three motors on my Autel Evo 1 initialized normally, but the right rear motor faltered and stopped, accompanied by a puff of smoke. The other three motors continued running. The drone wouldn’t restart and a single light on the fully charged battery flashed continuously. Removing the battery restored the normal four-light indicator. Testing with a second known-good battery yielded the same results: no startup and a single flashing light on the battery. This suggests a potential Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) or motor failure, possibly damaging the ESC in the process. Does Autel typically repair these components individually, or is the ESC integrated into the main flight control board, necessitating a full board replacement? Considering the drone is out of warranty, repair cost is a concern. Has anyone experienced similar issues and can offer insight into Autel’s repair process for out-of-warranty drones?
