Since Harbor Freight no longer carries Cen-Tech scanners, updates are unavailable. This raises the question: how crucial are Centech Obdii Eobd Abs Updates? My current vehicles are older than the scanner’s software, but I’m considering future car purchases.
While a basic code reader suffices for my current DIY car repairs, I initially chose the scan tool assuming updateable software. Autel’s update software proved incompatible with my Cen-Tech scanner despite trying various similar Autel models. Now, I’m contemplating selling it.
