Autel Evo Lens Correction Profile for Adobe Raw

Tired of the lack of a lens correction profile in Adobe Raw for the Autel Evo II Pro camera? This custom-created profile, using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator, addresses this issue, providing a solution for those who prefer working with RAW files. While in-camera JPEGs from the drone apply some geometric/optical correction, this profile allows for complete post-production control via RAW processing.

To use this profile, simply place it in the correct folder for your operating system. On a MAC, the file path is: /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/. For Windows users, consult Adobe’s documentation for the appropriate directory.

Once installed, the “Autel Robotics” option will be available in the lens correction profile dropdown menu within Camera Raw or Lightroom. This enables applying the correction to your raw DNG files during processing.

The impact of this correction is significant. The included screenshots demonstrate the difference: one image shows the uncorrected RAW file with noticeable curvature on a straight line (a home theater projector screen), while the other showcases the corrected image with the curvature straightened using the custom profile. This profile ensures accurate geometric representation in your final images.
